This is my makeup blog, what is my partner blog to my personal blog listed below. Here I'll post anything concerning my love and obsession for makeup. Including makeup looks, costume makeup, product reviews, etc. I'll also answer any questions you have! I am certainly no expert, this is just one of my many hobbies that I love to share with the internet. Enjoy!

ALSO! Guys, I want to see your Hunger Games movie premiere costumes! It doesn’t matter who you’re portraying, Katniss, Effie, Peeta, Cinna, a tribute, anything!!! If you are dressing up for tonight’s The Hunger Games midnight premiere, I want to see it! It doesn’t just have to be a makeup look, it can be a whole costume! Or both! Submit your pictures and I’ll put together a little something with them! I’ll be taking submissions until late tomorrow night, to make sure everyone’s had time to post them! I want to see them! :) - WRO

Keep in mind that by submitting your pictures, they will be posted onto this blog, so if you don’t want them to be on my blog, please do not submit them.

Hey guys, so I started my District 12 look today and it really just wasn’t going the way I wanted. But I figured, I’d finish it anyway and get it posted before my friends arrive (everyone in my group who’s going to the premiere are meeting at my house) and even when it was finished, I wasn’t happy with it. But, I was going to post it anyway. So I take my memory card to my computer, and it does the same thing it did the other day with District 7. All of the pictures I just took, gone. I’m not sure if this is a curse or a blessing in disguise. So, unfortunately, the look for District 12 will not be uploaded before the premiere. BUT I will be uploading a load of pictures from tonight’s festivities! From getting ready, to group photos, including the makeup looks all my friends are wearing! So, that makes up for it, right? If you want a district 12 look to hold you over, here’s my Girl on Fire look! I’m really sorry because I really wanted to get them all posted before tonight. But I will make up for it! Thanks guys. :) - WRO

Thought you all might enjoy seeing my nails I just did! This is what I’ll be wearing as part of my Capitol citizen costume for The Hunger Games midnight premiere tomorrow night! Just a plain matte black with one gold accent nail on each hand. I love it! So fun. :)

I'm dressing as a tribute from District 3 tomorrow for the premiere, and I planned on doing a circuit board patterned body paint all over, and came to your blog for inspiration for my makeup - I love that we had the same train of thought! I think I am going to do silver lipstick instead, and the circuit board look is going to fade in from my hair line, I think, with silver and blue and green makeup, (think The Matrix), but thanks for being so awesome!

lol great minds think alike, I say. ;) Wow, that sounds amazing! Love the idea of a silver lip! Please please please post pictures I really would love to see your costume/makeup! Sounds fierce!! :D - WRO

District 11.So, here’s my thought process for this look: District 11 = Rue = Rue’s whistle = mockingjays = the mockingjay pin. So there! I created a look inspired by the mockingjay pin! I wanted to keep the color palette all bronze and gold, and pull in some of the shape and design of the pin itself. So, I played up a classic wing by adding the arrow, and rounded out my crease to represent the ring encircling the mockingjay. I wanted to keep it very simple! I’ve been trying to even up the amount of crazy costume looks vs. simple fun looks. Because, if you take away the arrow and the exagerated crease, all you have is a wearable bronxey/gold/smokey eye. I also wanted to keep it different from District 7, as both of their main resources gave me an earthy, green inspiration. So I chose to pay homage to Rue in this look. Hope you enjoyed! Only one more look for this series! The District 12 will be posted, andalsotomorrow I will have some pictures of all of my friends midnight premiere costumes and makeup looks! So stay tuned for that! :)

District 11 is being edited! Will be uploaded soon! :) - WRO

District 10. This one was the most difficult for me, guys. District 10 is Livestock… when I first read that I was immediately like “what the hell am I going to do for livestock?” I could’ve done a cow print eye and submitted to cheesiness, which I wasn’t willing to do. And everything else was pretty neutral colored. And I was determined to get some bright colors in this look, as the last many looks were mostly in a neutral palette. So, I eventually found myself googling chicken feathers. And found nothing exciting. Then rooster feathers. Nothing. Finally, googled duck feathers. (After making sure with my mother that ducks can be considered livestock. She said yes, and mother’s always right.) And through pages upon pages upon pages upon pages of bland, neutral feathers… this one popped up! And I found my color story. Now, I know this look might not just scream livestock, but aren’t you glad you’re looking at this as opposed to a cow print eye? Thought so. I tried to pull in as many features of the feather as possible, not just the coloring. So I used mascara on my bottom lashes only, mimicking the lower grey feathers. And I winged my eyeliner and flicked it up a little, mimicking the line at the bottom of the blue. My favorite little touch is I let the eyeshadow fall onto my lashes, and my top lashes had the same color gradient as my lid did, which really resembled the feather if you ask me. This was a difficult one! I hope you enjoyed it! Just two more looks guys! :)

Fun fact: this eye look brought to you by ELF cosmetics! I recently purchased a large ELF palette and their black cream liner, and those are the main products I used tonight!

District 9.District 9 is all about grain. So, immediately I was inspired by the coloring of a huge field of grain. And I was determined to stick to that sort of golden, amber, almost maroon tinted neutral palette of a huge field in the middle of summer. My main inspiration was that color spectrum. And also, one thing I was determined to do was do this entire look with only my Naked Palette. Well, I failed. But the only other product I used was my Naked Palette 2, so I’ll still consider that a win. I heavily contoured my cheekbones and made mu brow much thicker than usual. And I really played around with the eyemakeup, having very little on my lid and putting all of the shadowing of the look underneath the eye. I like the tired, calm look of it. I used one of the most shimmery gold shadows, which is in both Naked palettes, and sprinkled a little gold dust all over most of my face. I feel like some sort of fairy you might find in the middle of a huge field in a Legend of Zelda game. ;) I actually really dig this look! I love keeping a neutral palette. But don’t worry, some crazy colorful faces are coming up soon! Hope you enjoy! Tell me what you think! Stay tuned for more! We’re almost through guys!
